THE SOLUTION TO SCIENCE

Biocryptology is not cryptobiology. We are not concerned with the motives of dedicated cryptozoologists whose mission is to find and record animals considered to be mythical.

Biocryptology is the study of living organic structures hidden within technology. Biocryptology also describes the efforts of the world’s finest scientific minds to combine living tissues with machines. Biocryptology detects the messages that exist for us from the machine world. And when we begin to see some physiology as well, we truly experience deus est machina.

Deus est machina” (God is a machine) was known to be inscribed on the southwest-facing pediment of the Temple of Solomon, where the first thought of the day would ring through the minds of the collected scholars. As the faithful meditated on the inscription, the morning sun would blind them as it rose over the cornice. After the destruction of the temple, the phrase would come to be one of the few remnants of that lost knowledge.

Until the 18th Century, nobody knew the full scope of deus est machina. Then alchemists, influenced by the despised Industrial Revolution, began contriving a machine-human connection. The phrase’s rediscovery came at a critical time in human evolution, and even Charles Darwin had no small part in the furtherance of biocryptology.

Using arcane techniques and a historian’s sense of time, biocryptologists upturn the rocks of contemporary thinking to reveal the scuttling bugs of human biology. Biocryptology is not a deep science, but it is an intense science.
